Our Beliefs
GOD, JESUS CHRIST, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT |

God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three persons (the Father, the Son, and the Holy
Spirit). These three are co-equal and are one God.
Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all humankind by dying on the cross. He rose from the dead after three days and ascended to Heaven's glory. He will return again to earth to reign as King.

Holy Spirit is present in the world to make humankind aware of our need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in ever believer from the moment of their salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truths, and guidance in doing what is right. The Christian seeks to live under His control daily.
MANKIND, SIN, SALVATION, AND THE BIBLE |

Mankind is made in the spiritual image of God, to be like Him, to glorify Him, to enjoy Him forever. We are the supreme object of God's creation. Although humankind is to reflect the glory of God, we are marred by "sin", disobedience towards God. This attitude separates us from God.

Sin is any lack of conformity, active or passive, to the moral law of God. This may be a matter of act, thought, or being. Sin is failure to live up to what God expects of us in act, thought, and being.

Salvation is a gift from God to humankind. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or by good deeds. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God's offer of forgiveness can we be saved from sin's penalty. Eternal life begins the moment we receive Jesus Christ into our life by faith.

The Bible is God's Word to all humankind. It was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian belief and daily living. Because it is inspired by God, it is truth without any mixture of error.
Discipleship, Worship, & missions |

Discipleship is the committed spiritual growth in the body of Christ to be used to help others in the name of God. Every believer is called to be a disciple and minister. According to Ephesians 2:20, "We are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do". We are made to make a contribution, not just to consume.
Worship is a celebration and an opportunity for the body of Christ to meet together to magnify Jesus Christ. Sunday worship is a corporate time to give God His worth through music, testimony, prayer, the arts and the proclamation of God's Word.

Missions is sharing the Gospel with men and women in our city, our state, our nation, and our world. Missions must exist where worship doesn't. Missions is our way of saying: the joy of knowing Christ is not a private, tribal, national, social, or ethnic privilege. It is for all.
