Belief

GOD, JESUS CHRIST, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT

God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three persons (the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit). These three are co-equal and are one God.

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all humankind by dying on the cross. He rose from the dead after three days and ascended to Heaven's glory. He will return again to earth to reign as King.

Holy Spirit is present in the world to make humankind aware of our need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in ever believer from the moment of their salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truths, and guidance in doing what is right. The Christian seeks to live under His control daily.

Pastor

Pastor David Jung

Pastor David Jung has a heart for seeing people know Christ, grow in their faith, and live out God's Word in everyday life. He earned his Master of Divinity from Liberty Theological Seminary and was ordained in the Southern Baptist tradition in 2011. In 2017, God led Pastor David to establish New Hope Community Church, where he continues to serve as a Pastor.

Pastor David is blessed to share life and ministry with his wife, Eunah. Together, they have two children, Adellaie and Toviel. When he's not serving at church, you'll likely find him enjoying one of his favorite past times-golf-or passionately cheering on his beloved Dallas Cowboys.

Above all, Pastor David desires for New Hope Community Church to be a place where people feel welcomed, encounter the truth of God's Word, and grow together in Christ.
